NEW! Socially Distanced Sunday Club
Starting on Sunday 4th October, 10 to 10.45am in The Church Hall, with crafts, challenges, music and fun.
We will all have separate family tables and we will need to follow care rules to keep us all safe (so we will be asking everyone over 11 years to wear a face covering and taking contact details.)
Parents are very welcome to stay for the session.
I look forward to seeing you all, Susan
What is Sunday Club?
Sunday Club is a Church Children’s group which takes place during the 10am Sunday service.
Each session is based on a Christian theme or story.
We include time for crafts, story time, singing, and a brief quiet time with a short prayer before we join everyone for refreshments at the end of the service.
When and Where
In the church, 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays 10.00am – 11.15am.
Sunday Club Coordinator – Susan Heron
number to follow
Each week there is a craft to make and a picture to colour.
Share the Peace time
We come down from Sunday Club to share the Peace with everyone
Each week we look at a different Bible story and share our news.
We have fun with action songs.
We end with a short quiet time and a prayer, then join everyone for communion and share what we have been doing.
Who comes to Sunday Club?
Any school age children come
(pre-school children are welcome too; we encourage an adult to stay with them until they are settled.)
Do I need to come every week?
Some families come every week, some once a month. Do come whenever you can; you will always be welcome.
During the year…
We have several special events for Sunday Club and their families:
Christmas Party, Dickens of a Christmas, Cherry Fair, Summer Picnic
