What is Church Mice?

Church Mice is a church baby and toddler group. Each session is based in a Christian story or theme.

We include time for crafts, playtime, refreshments for children and adults, story time, singing and instrument time, and a brief quiet time with a short prayer at the end.

When and Where

In the church, Thursdays (term time) 10.00am – 11.00am.

Craft and Playtime

Each week there is a craft to make and a picture to colour. There are a range of toys set out for free play too.

Coffee/juice/snack time

A chance for us all to chat and enjoy refreshments.

 Story time

We all gather together and sit down to hear a story and share our news.

Music time

Starting with our Church Mice song, we have fun with action songs, nursery rhymes and musical instruments.

Quiet time

We end with a short quiet time and a prayer near the alter steps. We sing a goodbye song.

Soup Lunch

You are welcome to stay for a lunch of home-made soup and bread.

Who comes to Church Mice?

Babies to pre-school children come with mums, dads, grandparents, childminders etc. In half-term older siblings are welcome too.Please remember that children remain the responsibility of whoever brings them.

Cost

It’s free, but we welcome a £1 donation, more if you stay for lunch (to help with costs.)

Baby changing facilities

We have baby changing facilities and potties for little ones.

Do I need to come every week?

Some families come every week, some once a month. Please come along whenever you can, you are always welcome.
